biography
Boskov is a
singer/songwriter from Denmark, who has written songs since
he was a kid. Until now he released the albums "Listen to
the Wind" & "Mr. Romance". Both albums contains songs in
Boskov’s own unique style. Give it a listen!
"Some of my greatest influences have been artists like:
Bruce Hornsby, John Hiatt, Van Morisson, The Band, Eagles,
Don Henley, Little Feat, Billy Joel and Elton John. These
are the ones that have influenced me the most, but of course
there are so many great artists that I have listened to
through the years. I have also been very much into listening
to Jazz and I am a great fan of players like: Chick Corea,
Herbie Hancock, Joe Zawinul, Oscar Peterson and Erroll
Garner.
I am a very
Pop influenced person and I love good pop songs, so my big
ambition is to make quality pop that has a broad appeal but
which can also be enjoyed by the more esoteric listener."
Boskov has played for a numerous number of people both live
and in the recording studio. Some of his credits are:
Sherwood Ball, Carl Anderson, Backseat, Mark Janicello,
David Pomerantz, Svenne & Lotta, Ester Brohus, Amanda
Ambrose, Maxine Nightingale, Marc Janicello, the Jive Aces,
Isaac Hayes, Jeannie Deva and more.
Right now
Boskov is in the studio working on the 3rd release. On this
album he is working together with musicians from around the
world. The music is in the same style as the first albums,
but with a touch of all the musical influences Boskov is
getting from the his musical experience around the world.
Beside the soloprojects Boskov writes songs to other
artists, makes music to corporate promotion videos,
commercials, vocals on different recordings and has also
produced a couple of albums, latest for the American singer
Terry Raede.
Recently Boskov arranged
and co-arranged a full musical with Mark Janicello called
"Be my Love" The Mario Lanza story. |
